She has over 20 years of experience in the field. She has shared her expertise at the local and national level, presenting at the Alliance for CEhp's Annual Conference, contributing to numerous journal articles, and serving on the Board of the Southern California Medical Education Council (SCMEC). Founded in 2010, Vivacity Consulting's goal is to help organizations simplify CME processes to increase efficiency while also improving the quality and impact of the education offered. Brief biography: During her career, Erin has consistently worked to improve medical education programs, meet JA, ACCME and CMA compliance, and facilitate the development of CE leadership and champions. Prior to founding Vivacity Consulting, she worked with the prestigious association management firm, BSC Management. She served as Executive Director of both the American Head & Neck Society (AHNS) and the Association for Academic Surgery from 2003-2006. Erin also served as the CME Manager for SAGES from 1999-2006. Since 2006, Erin has consulted with associations, hospitals, healthcare systems, medical schools, medical groups, and medical education companies. In this role, she facilitated multiple ACCME reaccreditation efforts, including Accreditation with Commendation for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine, and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), among others. She has helped with successful initial accreditation efforts for Hippo Education and a Better Life Recovery, among others. She also supports the SAGES ADOPT program, which provides longitudinal mentorship and education for surgeons adopting new techniques and skills into practice. The 2020-2021 Hernia @ Home program was described by General Surgery News and a manuscript about the program was published in Surgical Endoscopy.
