Strong experience in activity planning and evaluation. Expertise in accreditation, specifically ACCME/ANCC/JA, including initial accreditation, re-accreditation and accreditation with commendation. Experienced in ongoing accreditation compliance for all ACCME criteria, including the Standards for Commercial Support. Experienced Nurse Planner for ANCC accredited activities. Currently not consulting in the area of initial accreditation or re-accreditation for those seeking Joint Accreditation. |
| Brief biography: |
Jan's healthcare CPD career spans over 30 years and includes working on the education staff of a nursing specialty society, professional relations and marketing positions with several medical device manufacturers, and most recently 16 years at the Director level in medical education companies, including 12 years with the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine (PIM) where she was Director Education Outcomes and Accreditation. In that position she led the PIM outcomes measurement department, as well as maintaining as many as 13 accreditations. After retiring from PIM in June 2018, Jan founded her own consulting firm. She has served as an ACCME surveyor and is currently a Joint Accreditation surveyor. Jan has been a CHCP since 2008. She became a Fellow of the Alliance at the Annual Meeting in 2018. She is was President of the Allaince for 2 years (2022 tand 2023) and is curently serving on the ACEHP Board of Directors as immediate past president. |
