MESN helps healthcare organizations offer valuable education to their learners by providing appropriate unbiased professional educators that will address the identified professional practice gaps and educational needs of the organization. Since 1996, MESN has grown to include over 35,000 faculty, consisting of highly acclaimed physicians, clinical and academic faculty, scientists, and motivational speakers in the nation. MESNs clients include accredited hospitals, medical schools, virtual online medical education companies, medical groups, healthcare systems, medical education companies, specialty societies, and other healthcare organizations. |
| Brief biography: | Maria Anderson is the Director and Founder of the Medical Education Speakers Network (MESN). MESN a non-commercial speaker bureau for medical and professional education meeting planners. Before forming MESN, she worked for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), from 1986 - 1996. Maria briefly worked for various departments, including hospital billing, admission, and the hospital blood donor departments, before being hired by the UCLA Medical Center Marketing Department's Physician Relations Program, where we started the Visiting Speakers Program and managed the Medical Education Conference Outreach programs. Maria founded MESN in 1996 to help healthcare organizations offer valuable education to their learners by providing appropriate unbiased professional educators that will address the identified professional practice gaps and educational needs of the organization. In over 23 years, MESN has grown to include over 35,000 faculty, consisting of highly acclaimed physicians, clinical and academic faculty, scientists, and motivational speakers in the nation. MESNs clients include accredited hospitals, medical schools, virtual online medical education companies, medical groups, healthcare systems, medical education companies, specialty societies, and other healthcare organizations. Maria also serves on the Board of Directors for the Southern California Medical Education Council (SCMEC) and actively participates in the mentorship of medical education professionals in the region. |
